1ST Aid Bandage contains Benzethonium Chloride and Benzalkonium Chloride.
Role of key ingredients:
Benzethonium Chloride and Benzalkonium Chloride are quaternary ammonium compounds that act as bactericidal and used as a topical anti-infective agents. They induce necrosis and apoptosis by disturbing the cellular membrane of the microorganism on the skin and mucous membranes. Benzethonium Chloride and Benzalkonium Chloride is also used as an antiseptic that disinfect the area and reduce microorganism on the surface of the tissue.
1ST Aid Bandage is used as first aid for cuts, grazes and minor burns.
Directions of use:
Rinse the wound with clean water and dry the area with a clean piece of cloth or cotton. Place the 1ST Bandage on the wound, covering the injured area with the centre of the band-aid sticker. Gently remove the stickers on the side, to stick the bandage on the affected area.
Use under medical supervision.
