How to use Alphagan Eye Drop
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

Alphagan eye drop 0.2% w/v decreases the pressure in the eyeball by decreasing the formation of aqueous humor (clear watery fluid filling the space in front of an eyeball ).

Expert advice for Alphagan Eye Drop
Helps lower high pressure in the eye and reduces the risk of vision loss.
For best results, put one drop 2-3 times daily in the affected eye(s).
Alphagan may cause allergic reaction in the form of eyelid swelling, eye discomfort, foreign-object sensation, redness and itching. Notify your doctor if any of these occur.
Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. This minimizes the risk of side effects.
Take care to prevent contact of eye dispenser with eye, eyelid, eyelashes, or finger to avoid infection.
Remove contact lenses before using Betagan and allow at least 15 minutes before re-inserting them.
When applying multiple eye medications, wait for at least 5-15 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution.
