Blockuf Blue Syrup is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

Acute and chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion

Blockuf Blue Syrup improves the patient's condition by performing the following functions:
Reducing the phlegm in the air passages.
Relaxing and opening the airways.
Promoting mucus clearance, having anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and local anaesthetic effects.

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Blockuf Blue Syrup. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Blockuf Blue Syrup - Precautions & How to Use
Before using Blockuf Blue Syrup, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.
Consult doctor if condition worsens or does not improve after 14 days of use
Consult your doctor immediately if you develop breathing difficulty, swelling on your face, neck throat or tongue
Contact doctor immediately if experiencing allergic symptoms to this medication
Do not drive or operate machinery
First trimester of pregnancy
If you are suffering from liver or kidney problems, or if you are taking alcohol
Blockuf Blue Syrup - Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to Blockuf Blue Syrup is a contraindication. In addition, Blockuf Blue Syrup should not be used if you have the following conditions:
Allergic reactions
Breastfeeding
Breathing difficulty
History of allergy to Ambroxol or Bromhexine
Hypersensitivity
Pregnant
