How to use Clarifix Tablet Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Clarifix 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. Avoid Clarifix 250mg Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.

Clarifix 250mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bactireal infactions
It is used in infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, windpipe and lungs (pneumonia).

Clarifix 250mg Tablet is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.

Expert advice for Clarifix Tablet

  • Your doctor has prescribed Clarifix to cure your infection and improve symptoms.
  • It is better to take with food to avoid an upset stomach.
  • Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.
  • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete.
  • Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools.
  • Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Clarifix.

Missed Dosage

If you miss a dose of Clarithromycin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
