Secale cornutum is made from Ergot or Spurred Rye. It is prepared from the fresh fungus. Patients are old , weak with pale and sunken face. All complaints are accompanied by coldness of parts; intolerance of heat; better by cold

Bleeding is usually watery, black, offensive; constantly oozing out.
Brownish, offensive leucorrhoea
Sudden bleeding in third month of pregnancy

Cold, dry hands and feet in smokers
Numbness , tingling, trembling, cramps in fingers and toes
Trembling, staggering gait
Violent cramps
Icy coldness of extremities
Skin
Blue color. Dry gangrene, developing slowly
Varicose ulcers
Blood oozes for long even after small wounds
Burning sensation; better by cold; wants parts uncovered, though cold to touch
Skin feels cold to touch, yet covering is not tolerated
Great aversion to heat
Tingling tip; swollen; stiff
Dose- 15 drops of secale cor mother tincture in half a cup of normal water twice each day for 3 months, unless otherwise prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.
