How to use Febloric Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Febloric 40mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Febloric Tablet works
Febloric 40mg Tablet is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by decreasing blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout.

Your doctor has prescribed Febloric to reduce episodes of gout attack. Take Febloric at the same time every day, with or without food. Take plenty of fluids (2-3 litres) daily while on Febloric. Notify your doctor if you develop a rash. This could be a sign of allergy and should go away on discontinuing Febloric. To ensure that Febloric is working, you may have to undergo blood tests regularly. When you first start taking Febloric, you might have more gout attacks. Do not stop Febloric on having an acute attack of gout as that could make an attack worse.
