How to use Glucomust-PM Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Glucomust-PM Tablet is to be taken with food.
Glucomust-PM Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken empty stomach.
How Glucomust-PM Tablet works
Glucomust-PM Tablet is a combination of three antidiabetic medicines: Glibenclamide, metformin and pioglitazone. They work by different mechanisms to provide better control of blood sugar when single or dual therapy is not effective. Glibenclamide is a sulfonylurea which works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Pioglitazone is a thiazolidinedione which works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
