About Pilex Tablet
Pilex Tablet is a medicine that is used for the treatment of Hemorrhoids, Arthritis, Lowering High Cholesterol, Atherosclerosis, Alzheimer’S Disease, Genitourinary Disorders and other conditions.
Pilex Tablet contains Azadirachta Indica, Bauhinia Variegata, Bauhinia Variegata, Berberis Aristata, Cassia Fistula, Commiphora Wightii, Emblica Officinalis, Mesua Ferrea, Shilajit, Terminalia Bellirica, and Terminalia Chebula as active ingredients.
Pilex Tablet works by decreasing the hepatic steroid production; scavenging free radicals and initiating the lipid peroxidation; activating through opioid receptors; stimulating the cell-mediated immune mechanisms to elicit an enhanced response to subsequent mitogenic or antigenic challenge; lowering blood sugar level; inhibiting the mucus depletion and mast cell degranulation; stimulating cell-mediated immune reaction; retarding the growth and development of asexual and sexual stages of drug sensitive and resistant strains of the human malarial parasite; inhibiting the oral squamous cell carcinoma induced by 7, 12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene; inhibiting carcinogenesis in dose dependent manner; inhibiting platelet-activating factor induced aggregation of platelets in dose dependent manner; possessing hepatoprotective action through inhibition of hepatic microsomal enzymes; inhibiting serum and hepatic mitochondrial thiobarbituric acid-reactive substance levels; increasing the expressions of hepatic (necrosis factor) NF-kappaB; inducing NO synthase (iNOS), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) protein levels; blocking the T- lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity; increasing the gastric emptying time; increasing the humoral antibody production; possessing the hypolipidemic, hypoglycemic effects; possessing the strong inhibitory activity on pancreatic lipase; suppression of absorption mediated by gallic acid; suppressing the formation of 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical and hydroxyl radicals; suppressing the enzymes that are activated in the inflammatory process; retarding the growth of cancer cell lines including human cervical cancer, breast adenocarcinoma and hepatocellular carcinoma; activating the cell-mediated immunity; decreasing the growth rate of tumor cells; inhibiting the cytokines; showing immunomodulatory activity; possessing the haemostatic activity; possessing the activities due to the presence of 4-phenyl coumarin analogues, oleic acid, stearic acid, palmitic acid, beta-sitosterol, bioflavonoids and lupeol triterpenoid constituent; possessing the analgesic activity; decreasing the growth rate of tumor cells; inhibiting the cytokines; showing immunomodulatory activity;

Benefits & Uses
Pilex tablets shrink the hemorrhoid mass and stop bleeding. Pilex reduces inflammation of mucous membrane and skin. It reduces rectal bleeding, alleviates pain & itching and treats chronic constipation, which are main symptoms of hemorrhoids.
Fissures
Pilex tablets should be used along with Pilex ointment in the fissure. Generally, ointment alone can provide good results in fissures. In addition to Pilex tablets and ointment, one may also need to take Gandhak Rasayana and Yashad Bhasma for quick healing of fissures.
Bleeding Piles
Pilex tablet contains Daruhaldi (Berberis Aristata), Neem seeds and Nagkesar, which are effective remedies for bleeding piles. In mild cases, it alone can provide good relief. Pilex is effective if one has mild bleeding with hemorrhoids. Non-bleeding Piles
Pilex Tablets are likely to shrink the pile mass and reduces inflammation. Ingredients in it help a proper elimination of VAYU (gas) and reduce Vata aggravation, which further helps to reduce stretching of the blood vessels and likely to reduce the pile mass. In severe cases, it can be used along with Kankayan Vati for best results.

Pilex Tablets dosage is given below:
Children - 1 tablet
Adults - 2 tablets
Maximum Possible Dosage - 6 Per Day (in divided doses)
Doses - Twice or thrice a day
Best Time to Take - After Food
Adjuvant - Pilex Tablets should be best when taken with warm water.
