How to works How Erob Syrup works Erob Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Erythromycin and Bromhexine which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Bromhexine is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Addition of Bromhexine enhances the antibacterial effect of Erythromycin.
