How Atorin N Tablet works
Atorin N 10 mg/375 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin B3(Nicotinic Acid) is a form of vitamin B which further raises the levels of "good cholesterol" (HDL). |
