How Fibmet Tablet works
FIBMET 160MG/500MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines: Fenofibrate and metformin. Fenofibrate is a lipid-lowering medicine which works by lowering the levels of triglycerides in blood, while raising the levels of good cholesterol. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in the body and allows better use of existing insulin. Together, they provide better reduction in cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart diseases in diabetic patients. |
