How to works How Ofrivid-B Eye/Ear Drops works Ofrivid-B Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of three medicines: Ofloxacin, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose and Sodium Phosphate. Ofloxacin kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricant similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Sodium Phosphate stabilizes the pH of these drops.
