Expert advice for Pilagan Eye Drop
Your doctor has prescribed Pilagan Eye Drop for the treatment of angle closure glaucoma. It prevents glares and halos during night driving after lasik surgery. It is also used before, during or after eye surgery to narrow the pupil. Headache, particularly brow-pain may occur and may be severe enough to discontinue treatment. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. You may experience a stinging sensation for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
