How Quadriderm AF Ointment works
Quadriderm AF 0.64mg/10mg/1mg Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Betamethasone Topical, Clotrimazole TOPICAL and Gentamicin Topical which treat skin infections. Betamethasone Topical is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Clotrimazole TOPICAL is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering. Gentamicin Topical is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. |
