How Versidep NF Tablet works
Versidep NF 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupenthixol and Escitalopram which have anxiety-lowering and mood-elevating effects. Flupenthixol is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Escitalopram is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood. |
