How to works How Parazine Suspension works Parazine Suspension is a combination of two medicines: Chlordiazepoxide and trifluoperazine. Chlordiazepoxide works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Trifluoperazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.
