This is usually done every 1-3 years. Some patients develop fever or flu-like symptoms, such as chills, tiredness and weakness. These symptoms are usually mild-moderate and should go away after a few days. May cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, and pain in bones, joints and muscles. May cause atrial fibrillation (abnormal heart rhythm). Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem.
