Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medicines: Metformin, linagliptin. Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Linagliptin is a dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitor which works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces both fasting and postmeal sugar levels. Together, they provide better control of blood sugar.

Side effects of Ondero Met Tablet

Nausea, Stomach pain, Altered taste, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar level) in combination with insulin or sulphonylurea, Headache, Nasopharyngitis.

How to use Ondero Met Tablet

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
Ondero Met 850mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause stomach upset if taken on empty stomach.
