How Analar Eye Drop works
Analar Eye Drop is a combination of seven medicines: Naphazoline, Chlorpheniramine, Phenylephrine, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Boric Acid, Menthol and Camphor. Naphazoline and phenylephrine are decongestants which narrow the blood vessels of the eye to relieve inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers responsible for red, itchy, teary eyes. Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose is a lubricating formulation similar to natural tears. It provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness in the eye. Boric acid is an antiseptic which treats bacterial infection in the eyes and relieves irritation. Menthol and camphor provide a cooling effect. |
