About Himalaya Triphla Tablet
Himalaya Triphala is a 100% natural herbal compound and is a cornerstone of ayurvedic medicine. Triphala means 3 fruits and contains equal proportions of the fruits of Amalaki / Indian Gooseberry (Emblica Officinalis), Haritaki (Chebulic Myrobalan) and Vibhitaki (Bellirica Myrobalan).

Amalaki /Amla/ Indian Gooseberry (Emblica officinalis Gaertn.)
Amalaki is a nutritious herb that contains two unique antioxidants Emblicanins A and B which remove free-radicals. This herb is the base for many ayurvedic formulations on acccount of its immunity boosting and detoxification properties.Amalaki is considered to be a cooling herb and helps balance Pitta.
Vibhitaki / Bellirica Myrobalan (Terminalia bellirica Roxb.)
This herb supports liver functions due to its detoxifying properties and supports the gastrointestinal tract by keeping membrane linings healthy. It is also considered excellent for balancing Kapha dosha and has a beneficial effect on respiratory functions.
Haritaki / Chebulic Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula Retz.)
This is a purifying and tonic herb that helps to balance Vata dosha.
