How to use Racigyl O Dry Syrup
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Racigyl O 15 mg/50 mg Dry Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Racigyl O Dry Syrup works
Racigyl O 15 mg/50 mg Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Racecadotril and ofloxacin which treat diarrhoea. Racecadotril is an enkephalinase inhibitor which has anti-secretory effects. It reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps reduce the amount of fluid lost from the body in diarrhoea. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. This treats your infection.
