How Trofil Tablet works
Trofil 60mg/100mg/2mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Guaifenesin, Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine which treat parasitic infections. Guaifenesin is an expectorant which decreases the stickiness of mucus (phlegm), helping in its removal from the airways. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic medicine which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the worms. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness. |
