Stancee Tablet contains Ascorbic acid and Sodium Ascorbate. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is mainly necessary for cell mediated immune responses including leucocyte and macrophage functions, neutrophil motility and phagocytosis, but also for antimicrobial activity, interferon synthesis and antihistamine properties.
Ascorbic acid helps the body make collagen, an important protein used to make skin, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, and blood vessels. Vitamin C is needed for healing wounds, and for repairing and maintaining bones and teeth. It also helps the body absorb iron from nonheme sources.
Vitamin C plays a role in protecting against heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer, common cold, asthma, osteoarthritis, pre-eclampsia and age related macular degeneration.
