How Carbamyl Syrup works
Carbamyl 100 mg/2.5 mg Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Diethylcarbamazine and Chlorpheniramine which treat parasitic infections. Diethylcarbamazine is an antiparasitic which works by decreasing the muscular activity and causing paralysis of the parasites (worms). Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which decreases the raised eosinophil count (white blood cells) and controls allergic symptoms like cough and breathlessness. |
