How to works How Chlozep Plus Tablet works Chlozep Plus 10 mg/1 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Chlordiazepoxide, Trifluoperazine and Trihexyphenidyl. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Trifluoperazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease.
