How Cortecycline Eye Ointment works
Cortecycline Eye Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Tetracycline and Hydrocortisone. Tetracycline is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Hydrocortisone is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the eye/ear red, swollen and itchy. |
