How Normaxin RT Tablet works
Normaxin RT Tablet is a combination of four medicines: Chlordiazepoxide, Clidinium, Dicyclomine and Rabeprazole which treat irritable bowel syndrome. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Clidinium and Dicyclomine are antispasmodic medicines which relax the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). They stop sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, They relieve cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the amount of acid in the stomach which relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn. |
