How to works How Gutrex Plus Capsule works Gutrex Plus Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Pantoprazole, Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium which treat irritable bowel syndrome. Pantoprazole is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA) which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Chlordiazepoxide is an antispasmodic medicine which relaxes the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Clidinium is a laxative that works by drawing water into the intestine through osmosis, making the stools soft and easier to pass.
