How Modlip D Tablet works
Modlip D 20mg/1000IU Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Atorvastatin and Vitamin D3 which treat high cholesterol. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medication (statin). It works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required in the body to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Vitamin D3 is added to relieve the muscular pain caused by Atorvastatin. |
