Tudex Syrup is a combination of three medicines: Phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine and dextromethorphan which relieve cough and cold symptoms. Phenylephrine is a decongestant which narrows the small blood vessels providing relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Tudex Syrup may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Tudex Syrup may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Lactation
Tudex Syrup is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Tudex Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kidney
Tudex Syrup is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tudex Syrup may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
UNSAFE
Tudex Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor.
