Viticolor Lotion contains Super oxide dismutase and Catalase in microspheres of palm oil as main active ingredients.
Role of active ingredients:
Super oxide dismutase is an antioxidant naturally found in the body, and is a part of a class of "enzymes that catalyze the dismutation of superoxide into oxygen and hydrogen peroxide.
They are an important antioxidant defense in nearly all cells exposed to oxygen," like skin cells. Superoxide Dismutase overpowers the damaging reactions of superoxide, and protect the cell from superoxide (the most common free radical in the body) toxicity; it has the fastest turnover number of any known enzyme. Superoxide Dismutase has ability to reduce free radical damage in the skin, therefore preventing wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, help with wound healing, soften scar tissue, protect against UV rays, and reduce other signs of aging.
Catalases are the efficient enzymes found in the cells of the human body. Catalase has been shown to create a speedy reaction against hydrogen peroxide free radicals, turning them into water and oxygen and acts as antioxidant.
Viticlour has totally innovative mode of action through its ability to re-establish the physiological balance of free radicals in epidermal cells (melanocytes and keratinocytes). Viticolour is an opaque, non-greasy with a slightly granular appearance. The microspheres in its formula contain and protect the plant-derived active ingredient which is particularly sensitive.
