Expert advice for Anastra Tablet Your doctor has prescribed Anastra 1 mg Tablet to treat breast cancer. Anastra 1 mg Tablet lowers estrogen production in your body and reduces the growth of hormone-sensitive tumours. Anastra 1 mg Tablet can be taken with food or on an empty stomach with a glass of water or juice. Nausea (upset stomach) and hot flashes (sudden sweating and feelings of warmth) may occur on starting treatment with Anastra 1 mg Tablet but should go away with time. If nausea is bothersome, take it after meal. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible if it is within 12 hours of the missed dose. If it is more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and follow your regular dosing schedule.
