How Buscopan Plus Tablet works
Buscopan Plus 10 mg/500 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Hyoscine butylbromide and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Hyoscine butylbromide is an anti-cholinergic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain. |
