Metformin is a biguanide which decreases the production and absorption of sugar in your body and allows better use of existing insulin. Ramipril is a a blood pressure lowering medicine (ACE inhibitor) which works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood flows more smoothly and the heart can pump blood more efficiently.
